Authentic feel and a delicious series of sushi roll options. The staff is very courteous and there's a traditional Japanese-style seating section in the back corner. Definitely recommend.

from my experiences i can't say one bad thing about them. Great sushi, cool specials, and a great atmosphere. Every time i drive trough society hill i have to make a stop there.

Standard pricing for sushi, flavorful fish!We came for my husbands birthday. We got the sushi for two and sake and plum wine and vegetable tempura. Both were delicious. The sake was so smooth, and the plum wine was delicate and sweet. Almost floral. The sushi was great. Flavorful fish! Some sushi restaurant sushi tastes similar, this was freah delicious fish. So good!. Sushi for 2 was $50. Great for some excellent sushi.Good attentive service.

I love this place. I have been here twice: one with a friend and then with my date. Perfect for a romantic date if you ask to the seated at the floor mats. The sushi rolls are great and you can have a large variety. Prices are cheap And affordable. Desert variety is not large.

I've been coming here regularly for thirty years. This was the FIRST Japanese restaurant in Philadelphia. Solid, clean, friendly. If you are looking for good food in a quiet atmosphere, this is for you. The staff has always been wonderful to us.

I’m very sad to say this lovely place has closed. I’ve been a customer here for nearly 40 years. This was the FIRST Japanese restaurant in Philadelphia. Solid good food. Nothing over the top. Just solid. Every business meeting I had here always got the same comments: ‘This place is awesome!’ I have to find a new spot for lunch. So bummed.
